If you want to make sure your shoot day goes smoothly and you get all the shots you need, you’ve got to come prepared with your storyboard. For a digital twist on the ol’ paper and pencil, Cinemek’s Storyboard Composer app for iPhone/iPad is pretty nifty.
The app runs between $15-$30, and allows you to arrange and manipulate your photos to create zooms, pans, write notes, add stand-ins and more. You can even string everything together, set pacing and watch your storyboard come to life. When you’ve got things looking right, upload and share your storyboards easily online.
We just started playing with it at OVC HQ - have any of y’all tried it out? Do you think this app would be useful for you?
Our friend Beardy over at VideoContestNews.com has a helpful guide to clearing up your Facebook from all the contest apps you’ve probably added over the past months (If you’re like us, maybe even years!).
We just went through our Facebook settings cleaning out apps the other day, and we feel so much better!
This might be a good tool to use if you’re thinking of entering the 2011 Original iPhone Film Festival (due Sept 30)
Original Victories, Inc. (the very small company that’s behind OVC and a couple other nifty sites) recently released an app called the Video Time Machine. It’s a fun way to relive the past through pop culture videos dating all the way back to 1860!
Video Time Machine has been rocking the iTunes charts over the past couple days and we couldn’t be more proud. We think you’ll like it too. Learn more about the app here and check out details on how to get a copy for yourself for free below:

PLEASE REBLOG THIS FOR A FREE COPY OF THE APP!! (Please reply with your iTunes email address or message us with your iTunes email address and we will gift you the app!)
*If you already have the app please reblog and let your friends know because GIFTS ARE AWESOME!!!!
