The days have grown shorter (thanks Daylight Savings!), there’s a chill in the air and Turkey Time is just around the corner. While you’ve been making plans to get together with family, we’ve been scouring high and low for the very best video contests. If you haven’t had a chance to stop by OVC in the last week, let us catch you up to speed!

Here are some of the highlights this week:

Biggest cash prize: $20,000 in the Toyota Teen Driver Video Challenge. This one is only for our teen OVCers, but this is a HUGE prize! Share your tips for driving safely. Not only are they giving out a $20k grand prize, there’s also 9 runners up prizes of $1500. Pretty good odds!

Best non-cash prize: A $10,000 scholarship + iPad2 in the Inspiring Experts ‘Student’ Video Contest OR $5000 cash, $5000 to charity + iPad2 in the Inspiring Experts ‘Professionals’ Video Contest. So whether you’re a working stiff who loves their job, or a student looking forward to completing your studies and joining the workforce - there’s something for everyone!

Best trip: A JetBlue Getaways vacation for 4 in the Strawberry Shortcake ‘Berry Biggest Talent Show’ Video Contest. If there’s a kid who loves to dance between the ages of 2 and 10 in your house, you could win a family vacation to the destination of your choice.

OVC’s Pick of the Week: Overall, our favorite contest this week is the Vimeo Plus ‘Get Upgraded’ Giveaway. For this month’s giveaway, we’ve teamed up with our friends at Vimeo to award 5 OVCers with a Plus account for a year! This is the first giveaway that’s open internationally, so we’re looking forward to giving everyone a shot at winning this cool prize.
